Court Advocacy

Legal advocacy services to victims of domestic violence are offered in the Markham and Bridgeview courthouses. Court advocates also provide legal educational groups and IDVA education for residential clients of the Crisis Center.

The Court Advocacy Program provides crisis intervention, community education, and follow-up contact to victims. The Advocates also offer emotional support and assistance in understanding the court process.

Who we are
"It is one of the beautiful compensations of life, that no man can sincerely try to help another, without helping himself."
