Sam’s Club Stores Provide Major Support for the Crisis Center for South Suburbia
March 2009

Written by: Debra Marillo, Director, Community Relations

Sams Club’s from Tinley Park, Rolling Meadows, Hodgkins, Joliet and Woodridge all pitched in to do a wonderful thing- provide significant support to the Crisis Center for South Suburbia (CCSS). Sue Hartman, Regional Market Development Manager and Joan Bromley, Assistant Membership Manager for Sam’s Club, presented a very happy Edward Vega, Sr., Executive Director and Jeffrey A. Blanchette, Board President of CCSS, with a check for $13,500. Both Hartman and Bromley are Tinley Park residents and longtime supporters of CCSS through Sam’s Club. The funds will be used to make necessary upgrades to the CCSS Emergency Shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children.
