April 2009

Written by: Debra Marillo, Director, Community Relations

The Crisis Center for South Suburbia (CCSS) is accepting registrations for golfers for the annual Longest Day of Golf Marathon to be held on Thursday, May 7 at Silver Lake Country Club. The day will feature 54 holes of golf, equaling 3 rounds of golf. Participation is limited to 36 golfers. Green fees, cart, food and beverages are included for the day. Tee Off Time is 7:30 am. Each golfer is challenged to raise $1,000 in pledges. Proceeds from this benefit will help support the Crisis Center for South Suburbia’s mission to provide emergency shelter and essential services for victims of domestic violence. For more information or to register for the event, contact Janice L. at (708) 429 7255, ext. 126. Visit the website www.crisisctr.org for more information on the Crisis Center for South Suburbia, ways to support its mission, and the services it provides.
