Park Forest Awards the Crisis Center for South Suburbia
February 2010

The Park Forest Commission on Human Relations will present the Crisis Center for South Suburbia with the 2010 Humanitarian Award during its Black History Month celebration on Saturday, February 27th. The Crisis Center for South Suburbia is being recognized for its critical work serving over 44,000 victims of Domestic Violence in its 31 year history. This year’s theme is entitled: “Michael Jackson: The Humanitarian & Musical Genius”.The celebration will be located at the Freedom Hall-Nathan Manilow Theatre, 410Lakewood Blvd., in downtown Park Forest from 2-4pm. The event will be hosted by Gi-Gi Hightower and consists of performances by: Dance Expressions, Rich East Pom Pom team, Rico, Michael Jackson impersonator and much more. Free to the public.
