Harley “Women Riders Weekend” to Benefit the Crisis Center for South Suburbia
May 2010

Written by: Debra L. Marillo, Director, Community Relations

On Sunday, May 23, the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) will sponsor the “Women Riders Weekend” to benefit victims of domestic violence being served by the Crisis Center for South Suburbia Emergency Shelter. The run will begin promptly at 11:00 am from the Chi-Town Harley Davidson dealership located at 17801 South LaGrange Road in Tinley Park, Illinois and end at Starve Rock State Park in Utica, Illinois. In lieu of a riding fee, female riders are asked to bring a NEW pair of pajamas, sizes large and up to benefit the women residing at the shelter. Women interested in riding should pre-register with Kelly at kmcy3@yahoo.com. Donations of new pajamas from interested parties are welcome before the run begins!
