Candlelight Vigil
July 2010

Written by: Debra L. Marillo, Director, Community Relations

The Crisis Center for South Suburbia (CCSS) will host the 2010 Candlelight Vigil on Thursday October 7, 2010 at 6:30pm at the Village Hall of Tinley Park, located at 16250 Oak Park Avenue, Tinley Park, Illinois. The vigil pays tribute to survivors of domestic violence and honors those who have lost their lives to abuse. CCSS is looking for domestic violence survivors, community groups, churches, schools and local businesses to participate in the program with a song, poem, dedication, testimony, etc. Remember, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month! For more information or to sign up to participate in the program, contact Debra at 708-429-7255 ext. 116 or debram@crisisctr.org
