| Written by: Debra L. Marillo, Director, Community Relations
| | The Richards Bulldogs will challenge the Shepard Astros at the Varsity Football Game on Friday, September 17 at 7:00pm at Richards High School located at 10601 South Central Avenue in Oak Lawn, Illinois. In an effort to support the Teen Dating Violence Prevention Program (Fresh Start) operated by the Crisis Center for South Suburbia, the two teams are asking everyone who attends the game to donate $1 to the Crisis Center for South Suburbia to ensure the Fresh Start Program continues its service to various communities in the South Suburbs and Chicago.
Valerie Baudo of Crestwood and volunteer for the Crisis Center of South Suburbia organized the event with Head Varsity Football Coaches Tony Sheehan of Richards High School and Dominic Passolano of Shepard High School. For more information to attend and/or donate, contact Valerie at Vab1026@aol.com or Debra at debram@crisisctr.org
